On a Personal Level
As a lawyer, I have been focusing on legal problems arising in connection with employment relationships for more than 10 years. Solution-oriented advice and representation in personnel matters requires not «only» legal knowledge, but also specific experience. – Just because a solution is legally «correct» does not mean that it will work in practice.
My clients include companies (particularly from industry, services and the financial/insurance sector) and employees at all hierarchical levels and in all sectors.
I have in-depth experience with bonus and participation regulations, with the defense and enforcement of non-competition clauses, with any related competition law issues, with working time issues (recording, remuneration, working time models), with employment law issues (e.g. shift work, night work, Sunday work, occupational safety, accidents at work), with subordination issues in collective employment agreements, with restructuring, downsizing, demarcation from self-employment, as well as with social security and criminal law issues relating to employment relationships. However, employment law conflicts are also regularly emotional conflicts. As a trained and practicing mediator, I have experience and professional «tools of the trade» in this regard.
As a mediator, I am often involved in conflicts within companies, i.e. sometimes in the same subject areas that I am also familiar with from a legal perspective. Here, too, I work in a wide variety of sectors and hierarchical levels.
Main Areas of Focus
- Labor law (as well as related areas of law and topics, collective labor disputes, private and public law)
- Mediations (business mediations)
